SERVICES

Monitor Enrichment Program offers the following services:

  1. Structured Educational and Recreational Activities for Grades K-8 
  2. Educational Field Trips - MEP is planning various field trips to broaden student’s awareness of various cultures and experiences. The following field trips are planned for the 2021-2022 academic schools year: Andersonville National Historic Park, Flint RiverQuarium, Center for Puppetry Art, Albany Museum of Art, Thronafeeska Heritage Center, Atlanta Puppetry Center.
  3. Nutritious Afternoon Snacks - MEP provides students with a nutritious snack. Students are offered a fruit, vegetable, meat, and a grain product each day around 4:25. MEP provides substitutions for students with food allergies. Also, MEP kitchen staff is Servsafe Certified with experienced training in the safe-handling of food. MEP follows the food guideline of CACFP/Bright from the Start.

  • ​​MEP accepts childcare subsidy through DECAL CAPS. The Childcare and Parent Services assists no to low-income families with the cost of childcare.  Families may apply for subsidized childcare at Georgia Gateway.
  • MEP Scholarships may be available through sponsorships. MEP offers scholarships to qualified low-income families who are interested in childcare at MEP.  Families who meet basic eligibility screening for available funds will be invited to apply.
